Kindergarten overview

In the kindergarten department we focus on the developmental needs of the whole child. We provide experiences that are both challenging and promote social, emotional, physical and academic growth. We offer pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2.Ajial children are given the opportunity to develop a positive self-awareness and a strong sense of belonging. This enables our students not only to reach their full potential but to succeed. Our KG students are encouraged to take risks and to share their ideas. They are given the opportunity to use problem-solving strategies through working in small group cooperative activities; and on individual projects.

This program addresses the child as a whole, provides a space for children to discover, explore, experiment, play and make sense of their world. Children will participate in activities that include math, language arts, science, social studies, music, physical education and art. The learning environment provides a safe, warm and positive environment where our aim is to create a happy and close relationship between teachers, students and parents.
